Travel Documents Checklist Before You Fly

Most travel disasters start with a missing document. Run through this checklist a week before you fly.
Identity
A REAL ID-compliant license for US domestic flights, or a passport valid at least 6 months beyond your return for international trips.
Entry rules
Check visa or electronic travel authorization requirements for every country, including transit stops.
